I didn't really know what to expect going into this movie. Like most people I loved Zach Galifianakis in The Hangover, but I haven't really seen anything else of his that I liked him in. That changed in about 101 minutes.
This was the perfect role for Zach. A goofy, lovable, mental patient. I thought he did a terrific job making the other actors around him more believable. This was the first time I have seen Keir Gilchrist in anything, and I thought he did a great job. He seemed like a little older version of Michael Cera.
I thought it was a great, feel good type movie, very similar to Juno. It was the type of movie that you can just sit and smile at because you can relate to being a 16 year old who has a crush on a girl and doesn't know what to do.
I think sometimes we all wish we were as normal as people in a psych ward.
