The Lincoln Lawyer

It's been over a week since I saw The Lincoln Lawyer but I am just now getting around to reviewing it. You would think that this probably doesn't bode real well for the movie, but in a surprise twist it actually wasn't too bad.

After much deliberation it turns out that Matthew McConaughey can act. He isn't just the guy that can take his shirt off and make women gasp. He isn't just the guy with really short arms that I have to point out whenever I see him on screen because he is better looking than I am (but just barely).

The story for this movie revolves around a lawyer named Mick who conducts his law firm out of the back of his Lincoln. He gets involved in a case that takes a personal turn for him and is limited by his ability to speak of what he knows from his confidentiality agreement with his client (played by Ryan Phillippe).

Again, this is another movie that is difficult to review without giving away too much of the plot. I will say that this movie has a great cast and certainly worth the price of a popcorn and diet soda. It also never hurts to channel your inner George Costanza and go stare at Marisa Tomei for a couple of hours.
